Firm History

Robbins Travis PLLC was formed January 1, 2016 as the partnership of two veteran trial lawyers who each brought a quarter-century’s experience in litigation, negotiation, and problem-solving to the firm. Lyn Robbins came from his position as senior general attorney for one of the nation’s largest railroads, and before that, he had a successful litigation practice in Nashville, Tennessee. Susan Travis left her flourishing trial practice in Dallas, where she represented a number of companies and individuals locally and regionally. We have a wealth of trial, appellate, regulatory, advising, deal-making, and dispute resolution experience.

Robbins Travis PLLC was formed to provide problem-solving representation to clients of all kinds, from individuals locally to companies looking for help in the DFW Metroplex and in Texas to large clients on a national level.
