Firm History

Robbins Travis PLLC was formed January 1, 2016 as the partnership of two veteran trial lawyers who each brought a quarter-century’s experience in litigation, negotiation, and problem-solving to the firm. Lyn Robbins came from his position as senior general attorney for one of the nation’s largest railroads, and before that, he had a successful litigation practice in Nashville, Tennessee. Susan Travis left her flourishing trial practice in Dallas, where she represented a number of companies and individuals locally and regionally. We have a wealth of trial, appellate, regulatory, advising, deal-making, and dispute resolution experience.

Robbins Travis PLLC was formed to provide problem-solving representation to clients of all kinds, from individuals locally to companies looking for help in the DFW Metroplex and in Texas to large clients on a national level. Over the last decade, the firm has expanded with the addition of key lawyers and other personnel in order best to serve the needs of our clients, while Susan Travis has transitioned from being a partner to being of counsel to the firm.
